The intention of this project was to find a handwritten sign and develop a new 

visual system. A cohesive brand system and design deliverables needed to be recreated from a handwritten sign with at least three levels of information, 

expanding the intended meaning and then leveraging a visual vernacular. The 

goal was to use graphics skills to improve the visual communication of the sign and transfer it to the next level. I selected the handwritten sign of Sparrow Bar and Kitchen Restaurant on Haight Street in San Francisco and created an entire visual system leveraging the visual vernacular based on the restaurant. The purpose is to attract people to the restaurant. The deliverables help the customer easily identify the items and order the food from the restaurant.
